In daily life on the road with children
Time is short in the morning and you want to get to the daycare center quickly, because after that you have to get to work fast. With the VIA 1 Family, you can avoid the morning traffic and park right outside the daycare center. On your way back from work, you can do your shopping and pick up your child, all by bike. That way, you get plenty of exercise too.

The VIA 1 Family is a great choice for leisure activities and excursions with your children. You can drive right up to the playground or the swimming pool. Two children can sit comfortably on the padded bench seat, and the rain cover can be easily removed when the weather is good.

Plenty of room for children and shopping
The bench seat of the VIA 1 Family is firmly bolted to the airline rail. There is space behind the bench seat for small bags and shopping, and you can also transport further bags and crates in the footwell. The children sit comfortably on the padded bench seat with headrest.

Easy to use and secure hold
We have equipped the belts with three-point buckles from Fidlock so that your children are not only comfortable but also safe on the padded bench. As an adult, you can easily open and close these buckles. Your children, on the other hand, cannot operate the opening mechanism.
A rain cover with large viewing windows
We developed this rain cover for trips with the cargo bike in the cold season or in rainy weather. In this picture, you can see the rain cover from the children's perspective. There are large viewing windows on both sides that can be opened and closed as needed.
Shimano EP6 CRG
The powerful Shimano EP6-Cargo motor with its 85 Nm of torque gives the VIA motorcycle a powerful push when starting at traffic lights. It also supports you with consistently high performance over long distances. You can choose between three different levels of support, depending on how much you want to pedal yourself. The 630 watt-hour battery disappears into the steering column and is also easily accessible for charging.
How far you can travel on a single charge depends on a number of factors: the load, the route, the selected assistance mode and the outside temperature. A fully charged battery will give you approximately 60 kilometers of travel on a single charge at the highest assistance level.
Gates drive system
The low-maintenance Gates belt drive system sets new standards in terms of durability and cleanliness. No oil, no dirt – just pure efficiency. The Shimano Nexus 5-speed hub, which shifts automatically, makes riding even more comfortable for you.
Smooth running and stability
You'll travel safely with a solid Suntour Mobie A34 suspension fork and special Schwalbe Pick Up tires, developed for cargo bikes. Shimano 4-piston hydraulic disc brakes ensure safe and reliable braking. With a wheelbase of 210 cm and a sturdy chassis, you'll enjoy a smooth and safe ride – even when loaded up to 80 kilograms.
Supernova lighting system
The high-quality Supernova lighting system ensures your safety. The Mini 2 Pro front light with high beam function and the TL3 Pro rear light with integrated brake light make you visible even in the dark – up to 1000 meters.
Ready for the Fidlock world
You can attach various Fidlock accessories to the Twist-Base in no time at all. There are water bottles, small bags or the holder for the ABUS Bordo folding lock for the Twist-Base.
Service for you
VIA is delivered fully assembled and adjusted. All you have to do is unpack the VIA 1: open the shipping box, roll it off the pallet, check the tire pressure, adjust the saddle height and start having fun with the VIA 1 Family.
Space for two more children
The additional seat bench offers two extra seats for small children in the VIA cargo bike. You can easily insert the additional seat bench into the front of the box and fold it out when needed.
